Description

Engineer has to be specialized in traffic management and traffic systems. He will be responsible for the overall Traffic Engineering design reviews, testing, validation and verification, responsible for monitoring Traffic Management operations service levels by investor consortiums. Main requirements: •General Knowledge in Traffic engineering, Traffic operations and systems operations and management. •Vast experience in the field of (ITS) Intelligent Transport Systems. •Motorway and Trunk Road Communications (NMCS2, NRTS). •Hands on ITS systems and their integration with the work process in traffic control centers. •Experience with (acceptance) testing of ITS & Traffic Management Systems. •Ability to relocate / travel to rural areas frequently. •Arabic speaking candidates preferable. •BSc in Civil Engineering with major in Traffic Engineering, Elect Engineering or any closely related field. •Urban Traffic Control. •Security and Speed Enforcement. •Highway Lighting/Traffic Signals. •Customer Information Systems. •Wireless Communications. Duties & Responsibilities: •Monitor the implementation process of the Traffic management Systems in the region. •Steer the Site Supervision Team •Report progress & issues to the Technical Manager •Maintains technical communication with his counterpart on the side of the regional investor. •Ensures that the technical documentation of each Traffic Management System is of good quality and delivered according to the agreed documentation standards.
